Prom 2015
A few weeks ago, my daughter went to her senior prom and of course I had to take some pictures before the event. This is one of my favorite shoot so far. I've come to learn that location, season, and time of day can have a big impact on how the pictures turn out.
May is the month when cherry blossoms are in full bloom and if you have any in your local park, it's perfect time for spring pictures. I can't believe I haven't discovered this magical spot sooner but you live and learn eh. Cherry blossoms were everywhere. There was quite few people there on that day for prom and wedding pix. We got there around 4 pm. It was sunny with some scattered clouds. Taking pictures under the tree shades makes it an almost perfect lighting.
My daughter is in the pink dress and her friend is in the white dress. All I used is my Canon T3i and my 50 mm f 1.4 lens.
And of course, they have to take some silly pictures as well.
